Welcome

For anyone who has ever felt an endless excruciating pain, one similar to an incision into your scrotal area, or perhaps even a continuous light fingernail flick that beats to the march of a drum against your manhood, or perhaps even anyone who has simply felt unrequited love, you may just be a fan of the New York Mets. And if this is how you feel, I welcome you to The (Happy?) Recap - a daily blog for the truest of true, the die-hards, the fans that can't get enough of our beloved (and sometimes despised) New York Mets. At 46 games into the 2010 campaign, sitting at an even .500 in a season that has seen the highest of highs and the most pathetic display of baseball imaginable, I find the New York Mets not only infuriating, but fascinating - so much so that I felt the need to create this daily blog to share with you my thoughts. If you're looking for ESPN style recaps and objective or professional reporting, you best be movin' along. Here I will spew, I will rant, I will gloat, but my real goal is to make you think or at the least make you laugh. After all, if we can't laugh at our misfortunes we might as well have called it a day after Tom Glavine walked off the mound that fateful Sunday. For all as tortured and addicted as I, Welcome to The (Happy?) Recap!
